Isle of Wight marathon training...
...is going to the dogs!
After a successful Chester Marathon last year on the back of a not so successful 50 mile ultra attempt; I have decided to pick myself up and start running again!
So in April this year myself and 3 others from Ross-running club decided to start training for the Isle of Wight marathon. The rationale behind this is that its a relatively small event with great scenery; so we're doing it for the fun and love of running, opposed to time chasing.
On top of this I am organising another Ultra attempt for next June. The one I've chose is round the island; this is a 2 day, 35 mile per day trip around the island.
More news to follow, but here's a pain-face from last weekends training!
