Half way through 2012!
As years go, this one seems to be flying by like a champion!
So far there have been targets achieved-
- · Sub 1.30 Half
- · 25 commutes to work cycling in 25 weeks
- · Getting Mr L to run in a race! (He doesn’t realise I set this as a target, but he done the 1 mile for sports relief, which is participating in a race!)
- · Cycle to work followed by a fast pace club run
- · Sub 40 min 10k
- · 2nd marathon
- · Sub 27 min 10 mile TT cycling
There are also some more targets to achieve, and some I have also added to the original list as the as progressed-
- · under 1 hour Bill Mills 9 mile run
- · under 1.25 half marathon
- · sub 26 min TT cycling
- · 25 more commutes
- · To gain more qualifications
- · To become a “mud master”
Also,
This year as seen the start of me
keeping a detailed log of all the races, training and exercise I do…
590 miles ran so far. Compared to last year, I am down by just over
20 miles (poorly kept records!). However, this year my mantra has been quality not
quantity. This means more intense speedy sessions, rather than tempo running. This
seems to be paying off!

Strange world, when you bump into the Take that tribute band while walking up the Skirrid
Good Vibes ! :)
